The Church at work in the Community
Galatians 6:2
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
The Men's Ministry prepared breakfast for the Mothers in the community on Mothers Day.
Recently we had the local high School to hold thier Baccalaureate for the 2015 graduating class at Friendship Baptist Church. Baccalaureate is a centuries-old religious graduation tradition.
School Supplies
On July 9, 2015 a local non profit threw a back to school bash. It is an annual event. The children play games, eat, meet their new teacher and are given school supplies. Member of Friendship Baptist Church provided paper and no. 2 pencils for two Hundred students.
Christmas in the Park
Christmas of 2014 Friendship decorated a portion of a local State park as part of a park fund raiser.
